Jean Marc Noblot began practising martial arts in 1981 with jun fan jeet kune do and kali escrima. He was one of the pioneers of these styles in France and took part in their development by bringing guru dan inosanto to France for the first time.
He moved on to wing chun and once again spearheaded its development in France, bringing a grandmaster of the style, Sifu William Cheung, to France for the first time.
He then studied with Sifu Nino Bernardo and went on to complete his training under Sifu Wong Sheun Leung in Hong Kong.
In 1998, he went to Los Angeles to study jiu jitsu with Rickson Gracie, with whom he stayed for 1 year. He then switched to the Machado brothers. He took part in numerous competitions: -vice champion at II coppa pacifica 99
