I. FOR ADULTS

In accordance with article L. 231-2 of the French Sports Code, the FFK Medical Commission decided on September 2, 2022 not to require a medical certificate for the issue of a license. From now on, anyone over the age of 18 is free to take out a license without the need for a medical certificate. The medical certificate is no longer a requirement for all adult licensees, whether recreational, competitive or managerial, with the exceptions detailed in section III.

II. FOR MINORS

The rules for minors remain the same as for the previous season (see circular dated July 27, 2021). The presentation of a medical certificate is therefore not mandatory for the issuance of a license to a minor. There is therefore still no correlation between a minor's FFK license and a medical certificate.

III. NEW RULES FOR COMPETITION IN DISCIPLINES WITH SPECIAL CONSTRAINTS

In application of the legislation relating to the disciplines known as "with particular constraints", derogatory provisions are laid down in certain cases. These disciplines are those in which the fight may end, notably or exclusively, after a knockout. From now on, competitors in the following disciplines will be required to present a medical certificate, less than one year old, stating that they are not contraindicated to compete in the discipline concerned. For further information on this subject, please contact the Federation's legal department.

our warmest sporting regards,
